The home opener for the Lady Tigers softball team sure looked a lot different than their Opening Day win Thursday. After squeaking out a 3-2 win at Monett, the Republic offense exploded for 15 runs in three innings against Glendale in a 15-0 win.
Molly Zinecker had three hits and drove in four runs for the Lady Tigers. Emily Hall, Lauren Strobel, and Abby Norris added two hits apiece. Danielle Shelton had two RBIs.
Rachel Rook struck out three and allowed two hits in three innings to pick up the win.
The Lady Tigers will be back in action Tuesday at Marshfield.
