Neosho scored six runs in the 3rd inning and cruised to a 10-2 win over struggling Republic Wednesday night. Trey Turner picked up the win on the mound, and had three hits from the leadoff spot for the Wildcats. Kris Finley and Tyler Johnson each had two hits and two RBIs for Neosho.
Republic managed only five hits off Turner. Dustin Eby had two of them, including a double.
Clayton Rose took the loss for Republic. He allowed six runs — just three of them earned — in 2 1/3 innings.
