Two Tigers Earn All-COC Nods

Two Republic Tigers were named to the All-Central Ozark Conference team by the league’s coaches. Junior forward Cody Geiger earned a spot on the first team, and senior guard Jake Fletcher was named to the second team.

Geiger and Chris Kendrix of Willard are the only two juniors on the first team. They’re joined by Player of the Year Austin Ruder of Nixa, and seniors Brett Krisik of Ozark, Kohl Slaughter of Webb City, and Thatch Unruh of Branson.

Joining Fletcher on the second team are seniors Phoenix Johnson of Webb City, Kolbe Kinghorn of Willard, Jakob Neidig of Ozark, and juniors Bryce Dulin of Nixa and Da’Quan Ervin of Branson.

Carthage senior Nathan Reid and Nixa sophomore Jacob Ruder earned honorable mention.

Branson’s Brian McTague was named coach of the year.
