The Republic Tigers tennis team opened its season with a round-robin tournament in Mt. Vernon Wednesday. The Tigers competed along with three other teams. The following Republic players placed:
Flight 1 Singles- Michael Nacy (9) finished second.
Flight 2 Singles- Will Hyde (11) finished second.
Flight 3 Singles- Ryan Engert (10) finished second.
Flight 4 Singles- Eddy Elivo (12) finished second.
Flight 6 Singles- Gabe Bandfield (9) finished second.
Flight 1 Doubles- Michael Nacy/Will Hyde finished second.
