Republic’s middle school cross country team had another winning day at the Springfield Catholic Irish Invitational Tuesday. The girls team finished first out of 30 teams from Missouri and Arkansas.
The Lady Tigers nabbed six of the top 15 spots, out of 210 runners. Madison Appleberry finished 3rd, Destinee Tyk was 5th, Brylee Manes was 6th, Emma Lucas finished 7th, Taytum Carter was 12th and Morgan McGuire finished 14th.
In the boys division, there were 211 entries. Lane Coleman finished 37th overall to lead the Tigers.
