Republic used a 17-4 run to open the second half and break open a close game, as they beat Neosho 74-39. Brooke Dutton led three Lady Tigers in double figures with 14 points, including eight in the first quarter.
Republic looked like it would cruise early, building a 15-point lead midway through the 2nd quarter. But Neosho outscored Republic 10-2 over the next few minutes to cut the lead to seven. A bucket by Brooke Dutton just before halftime gave Republic a 35-26 lead.
Republic outscored Neosho 23-9 in the 3rd quarter to put the game away.
Alex Botkin scored 13 points and Alice Heinzler added 10 for Republic, who improved to 14-7. The loss drops Neosho to 7-15.
