Sophomore Jordan Jones and Senior Elle Aston have both earned all-state honors from the Missouri High School Volleyball Coaches Association.
Jones was named to the first team after racking up 680 assists as the setter for the Lady Tigers’ offense. She had previously been named to the All-Southwest Region first team.
Aston made the All-State second team. She led Republic with 211 kills, and also contributed big numbers defensively, with 46 blocks and 301 digs. She was also an All-Region first-teamer.
Aston, Jones and the rest of the Lady Tigers finished the season 25-8-2, and made it to the state quarterfinals.
