For the 12th time in 17 games, Republic’s game came down to one goal Tuesday night, and Ozark’s goal 10 minutes in was enough for a 1-0 win in Ozark.

Republic got off one shot all night, from Dylan Garrison early in the second half, and Ozark’s keeper saved it. Ozark outshot Republic 11-1 and had eight corner kicks to Republic’s one.

Koal Williams saved the only two shots Ozark put on goal after the first one, and Ozark’s other eight shots went high or wide. Morgan Aldridge blocked two shots, and Landon Otero, Josh Hart and Logan Renkoski blocked one apiece.

Aldridge and Renkoski each blocked a shot after back-to-back Ozark corner kicks in the 75th and 76th minutes, and Ozark’s last shot of the night went wide moments later. Republic’s only corner kick came in the 68th minute.

The Tigers are 7-5 in games decided by one goal or in a shootout. Republic was coming off a 1-0 win over Lebanon on Thursday, when Hart scored with about five minutes left.

Republic is 8-9. The Tigers host Glendale Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
