Republic won all nine matches at Willard Tuesday night, sweeping the Lady Tigers’ Central Ozark Conference West Division rival 9-0 after a start delayed by heat.
The doubles teams set the tone. Claire Norris and Abigail Bremer won 8-2 at No. 1, Elaina Antonuk and Marlee Vasquez won 8-1 at No. 2, and Aubree Tinsley and Leighton Riffe finished off the doubles sweep with an 8-3 win at No. 3.
Singles play went just as well. The closest match of the night came at the top of the lineup, where Norris won 8-5 at No. 1 singles. Bremer dropped no games at all in an 8-0 win at No. 3, and nobody else in the lineup gave up more than two.
