Republic rolled to a 7-0 shutout at Lebanon on Thursday, with Andie Wistrom scoring three times to push her season total to 17 goals.
Wistrom opened the scoring 14 minutes in. Four minutes later, Ava Woolley made it 2-0. With four minutes left in the half, Paige Elsenraat scored on an assist from Macey Mitchell to send Republic into the break ahead 3-0.
Wistrom added her second of the night with 27 minutes remaining in the game, assisted by Shelby Romine, then completed the hat trick 11 minutes later to make it 5-0. Mitchell closed out the scoring with two goals — the first unassisted with 16 minutes left, the second on an assist from Wistrom with 12 minutes to play.
Republic held a 17-1 edge in corner kicks and took 22 shots while limiting Lebanon to almost no scoring opportunities all night.
The win was Republic’s third in a row and sixth in its last seven matches. The Lady Tigers are 8-4 as they prepare for a match against Springfield Catholic (8-1) on April 13.
