Republic posted four top-10 individual finishes Thursday at the Girls Night Out meet at JFK Stadium in Springfield, a 44-team event. Senior Avery Rossow took sixth in the shot put (11.31m), freshman Reese Tate was seventh in the pole vault (2.92m), freshman Maura Lander was ninth in the triple jump (10.56m), and junior Madi Chevalier placed 10th in the javelin (36.35m).
The 4×800 relay of Zoey Johns, Josie Stalzer, Peyton Bodoin and Brylie Harris placed ninth (10:43.56).
Sophomore Harris was 12th in the 800 (2:33.51), and sophomore Audrey Pearce took 14th in the discus (32.95m). Johns was 14th in the 3200 (12:57.29).
The 4×200 relay of Lander, Victoria Johnson, Quinnlyn Keller and Kyndall Snider placed 14th (1:49.96). The 4×400 team of Lander, Stalzer, Keller and Aryanna Kucij was 16th (4:22.09). The 4×100 of Gracie Shanks, Johnson, Keller and Snider finished 19th (52.30).
Kucij was 18th in the 400 (1:03.56). Snider placed 20th in the 200 (27.10), and Johns was 22nd in the 1600 (5:47.42). In the hurdles, Addison Warren was 26th in the 100-meter hurdles (18.49), and sophomore Myleigh Mooneyham was 30th (18.82). Mooneyham placed 38th in the 300 hurdles (56.33). Shanks was 45th in the 100 (13.53), and sophomore Jordan Coleman was 53rd (13.72).
Much of the Tigers’ lineup was young. Lander, Snider, Johnson, Tate and Bodoin are all freshmen, and sophomores Johns, Harris, Kucij, Mooneyham, Keller, Pearce and Kilburn contributed across events.
