AJ Uhl turned in a dominant offensive performance to lead Republic past Capital City 69–43 Friday night.
Uhl finished with a career-high 26 points, doing most of his damage near the rim. He recorded 10 two-point field goals, added one 3-pointer, and made three free throws.
After Capital City jumped out to an 8–1 lead, Uhl helped stabilize the Tigers with 11 first-half points. Republic led 32–19 at halftime and pulled away in the second half to even its record at 1–1.
Uhl’s efficient 26-point night is our Performance of the Week.
