Republic’s boys placed fifth and the girls finished fourth at the COC West cross country meet Friday in Nixa.
Lucas Riffe and William Payne led the boys, finishing 16th and 17th in 17:33. Brylie Harris led the girls in ninth at 20:03, followed by Catherine Wilson in 11th at 20:35.
Republic will compete next at the district meet November 1.
