Republic’s Ayden Morgan turned in the team’s top finish at the Central Ozark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, placing second in the West Division of the 100-yard freestyle. Morgan posted a personal-best time of 1:18.25, cutting 2.41 seconds from his previous mark.
He also trimmed 0.27 seconds off his time in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing fifth in the West Division at 34.57 seconds.
Teammate Jonathan Noell also continued to improve, shaving 1.91 seconds from his season-best time in the 50-yard freestyle. He finished eighth in the West Division at 37.24 seconds. Noell also competed in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing eighth with a time of 2:03.19.
