Republic swept the top three doubles matches, then won five of six singles, to beat Glendale 8–1 in a cross-division Central Ozark Conference dual on Monday.
The Lady Tigers jumped ahead 3–0 after doubles. Claire Norris and Marlee Vasquez won 8–2 at the top spot. Mati Carpenter and Aubree Tinsley matched that score at No. 2, and Paelyn Kaufmann and Sienna Blankenship added an 8–1 win at No. 3.
In singles, Norris, Vasquez, Kaufmann, Abigail Bremer, and Tinsley all picked up victories. Carpenter dropped a close one at the top spot, 8–4, but Republic still finished with a 5–1 edge in singles play.
The win improved Republic’s dual record to 4–2. Today’s scheduled match was rained out, and the Lady Tigers will be back in action Wednesday at Nixa.
