Republic volleyball moved back above .500 with a win on the road at Waynesville Thursday, earning a four-set victory, 25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 25-18.
Reese Finley led the Lady Tigers with 21 kills, and she also contributed three blocks defensively. Kate Mitchell also had three blocks. Bria Claxton and Addyson Warner each had 12 digs.
Chloe Pullan handed out 26 assists to lead the team, and Audrey Pearce had three service aces.
The Lady Tigers swept Waynesville, winning the JV match in two sets and winning the freshman match in three sets.
The win improves Republic’s record to 4-3-1. The Lady Tigers will participate in the Rockwood Invitational tomorrow and Saturday.
