Republic’s golf team nabbed a fourth-place finish in a 20-team field at the Carthage Invitational Monday at Carthage Golf Course.
The Tigers finished with a team score of 306, placing behind tournament champion Nixa, runner-up Carl Junction, and third-place Rogersville.
Senior Cason Bekemeier led Republic with a 70, tying for third place in the individual standings. Ryder Edmonds scored a 77 for the Tigers, and David Hayes carded a 79. Luke Heavin and Porter Bollinger each shot 80.
