Brenley Hagewood has been named Class 6 District 5 boys basketball Player of the Year. The senior guard headlined the all-district selections released this week.
Hagewood was joined on the boys all-district team by fellow Republic senior CJ Uhl. The 6’7″ forward was one of 10 players selected across the district.
On the girls side, Republic senior Lanney Strong earned all-district honors along with sophomore teammates Paelyn Gilmore and Cora Cutbirth.
