Eleven Republic football players earned Academic All-State recognition from the Missouri Football Coaches Association for the 2023 season.
The Tigers’ honorees included three seniors: Mason Fleetwood, Cam Allen, and Hayden Hradek. Five juniors also received the honor: Kaleb Norman, Grayson Hart, Chance Gimlin, Landon Harper and Jin Villasica. Three sophomores rounded out the list: Trenten Coleman, Ethan Montiel, and CJ Uhl.
To qualify, players must start in at least 70% of games and meet two of three academic criteria: a 25 or higher on the ACT, a 3.5 or higher non-weighted GPA, or ranking in the top 20% of their class. Players must also be nominated by their head coach, who must be a current MFCA member.
