The number of consecutive seasons in which Republic has played at least 12 games. Republic will play its 12th game of the year against Branson on Friday after playing 15 games last year and 12 in 2022. This is the first time ever that Republic has played in 12 games three years in a row, and it’s the first time Republic has accomplished that two years in a row since 1991 and 1992.

The number of consecutive seasons in which Republic football has finished above .500. The Tigers went 6-5 in 2021, 8-4 in 2022, 12-3 in 2023, and are currently 9-2. The last time Republic finished above .500 in four straight seasons was more than 30 years ago. The Tigers finished above .500 18 times in a row from 1974 through 1991.

The number of wins (so far) for Republic football in four seasons. Republic won 37 games in the ten seasons before Cornelsen was hired as the head coach beginning with the 2021 season.

The number of times Republic has won ten football games in back-t0-back seasons. Republic first accomplished that win total in 1982 and 1983, when the Tigers went 12-1 and 10-2, respectively. The Tigers did it again in 1985 (11-2) and 1986 (12-1). The third time was in 1988 and 1989, when the Tigers went 10-1 in back-to-back seasons. A win Friday at Branson would be number ten for this season, giving the Tigers back-to-back seasons with double-digit wins for the fourth time.

The total yards gained by Republic’s offense through 11 games this season. The Tigers have gained 3,634 of those yards on the ground. In contrast, Republic’s opponents have gained 2,012 yards——only 919 rushing yards.
