Six Republic softball players earned a spot on the all-Central Ozark Conference West Division team. Addie Brown, Paige Elsenraat, and Piper Dishman — all juniors — were unanimous selections to the first team. Seniors Annabelle Gerhardt-Hobbs and Cass Ellison were joined on the second team by junior Kara Goeke.
Left fielder Brown hit .467 to lead Republic in batting average. She drove in 30 runs and scored 28, hitting five home runs and stealing six bases.
Elsenraat, Republic’s right fielder, hit .375 with 29 runs scored and 18 runs batted in. She also stole 11 bases.
Dishman struck out 103 batters in 73 innings pitched, finishing with a 2.29 earned run average.
First baseman Gerhardt-Hobbs hit .375, driving in 23 runs and scoring 16.
Ellison played solid defense at third base along with a .398 on-base percentage. She scored 21 times and drove in 18 runs, stealing six bases.
Goeke finished with a 3.11 ERA and 86 strikeouts in 99 innings pitched.
Neosho senior pitcher Carleigh Kinnaird was named Player of the Year in the COC West.
