Republic’s offensive line paved the way for a dominant rushing performance in the Tigers’ victory over Kickapoo Friday night. The unit cleared paths for 447 yards on the ground, consistently overwhelming Kickapoo’s defenders.
The line’s impact was most evident in the first half, when Republic averaged nearly 10 yards per carry. The Tigers ran 30 times for 289 yards before halftime, setting the tone for the game.
Republic’s starting offensive front consists of Chance Gimlin, Landon Harper, Auston Key, Braxton Lundberg, Blaze Mooneyham, and Clinton Smith — along with tight end CJ Uhl. Their ability to control the line of scrimmage allowed Republic’s backs to find running lanes throughout the contest.
The offensive line’s commanding performance laid the foundation for Republic’s win and earns this week’s Performance of the Week honors.
