Republic Lands 8 on All-COC, All-District Teams

After a successful 2024 campaign, several Republic girls soccer players have been recognized with multiple spots on the All-COC and All-District teams.

Three Republic players were named to the All-Central Ozark Conference first team: senior forward Molly Blades, senior defender Ava Brown, and senior defender Brooklyn Claxton.

The All-COC second team included junior midfielder Cadence Lugar and senior defender Kendra Phiri. Republic also had two players receive All-COC honorable mention: junior midfielder Kaylee Cornelsen and junior forward Adison Gibbs.

Five Republic players were selected to the All-District first team: Blades, Brown, Gibbs, Lugar, and Claxton.

The All-District second team featured three Republic players: junior midfielder Claire Redman, Cornelsen, and Phiri.

In addition to her All-District first team selection, Brown was also named the co-Defensive MVP for the district.

The Lady Tigers finished the season with a 17-7 record, reaching the district semifinals before falling to eventual champion Nixa.
