Ozark (4) knocked off Republic (5) in the opening round of the team district tennis tournament at Ozark Monday. Ozark’s 5-3 win avenged a close loss to Republic just a week ago.

The loss ends Republic’s spring tennis season. Republic finishes its season with a 7-6 record in dual play.
The loss also marks the last match at Republic for four seniors: Garrett Carpenter, Micah Crosby, Cooper Davis, and Austin Hardcastle.
