Tigers Finish Fourth on Marshfield Links

The Republic golf team finished fourth at the Marshfield Invitational on Tuesday with a team score of 320. Rolla won the tournament with a 293, followed by Lebanon at 310 and Monett at 313.

Cason Bekemeier led Republic with a 73, earning his seventh top-10 finish of the season. Jace Henry shot an 80, Aslan Ebisch carded an 82, Brayden Tharp scored an 85, and Porter Bollinger finished with a 92.

Rolla’s Jonathan Jordan took home individual honors with a 66, followed by Monett’s Jaxon Bailey at 68, Lebanon’s Titan Haney at 70, and Bekemeier at 73.

The Marshfield Invitational marked Republic’s second tournament in two days. The Tigers finished fifth at the Carl Junction Invitational on Monday with a team score of 323.

Last Thursday, Republic placed second at the Willard Invitational, with Bekemeier claiming the individual title. The Tigers also finished fifth at the Carthage Invitational earlier last week.

Republic’s next tournament is the COC Tournament on April 29.
