Cason Bekemeier’s eagle on the final hole of the day cemented his third-place finish at the Ozark Invitational at Fremont Hills Country Club in Ozark on Thursday. Bekemeier and the rest of the field fought through 20-mile-an-hour winds much of the day. He finished with a score of 74.

Two golfers finished ahead of Bekemeier: Harry Satterlee of Joplin and Jack Spencer of Carl Junction both shot a 68.
Republic finished 11th in the team standings out of 21 teams.
Among Republic’s other four golfers, Jace Henry and Porter Bollinger each shot an 87, Brayden Tharp finished with an 89, and Aslan Ebisch scored a 98.
