Caide White got his senior season off to a fast start when he took the mound for the first time Saturday against Rolla. White pitched six innings, allowing only one run on two hits. His performance allowed Republic to pick up its second win of the year in a 2-1 pitcher’s duel.
Of White’s 94 pitches, 51 were strikes. He struck out nine batters and walked five, and his outing was our Performance of the Week.
