Six Republic softball players earned a spot on the Academic All-State team, and the team was also awarded with Academic All-State honors by the Missouri High School Fastpitch Coaches Association.
The Academic All-State players are Ali Poulson, Paige Elsenraat, Jenna Belcher, Lilli Richerson, Addison Brown, and Kara Goeke. To qualify, players must play varsity and have an unweighted grade-point average (GPA) of 3.7 or higher.
Teams with an overall unweighted GPA of 3.3 or higher are awarded Academic All-State designation as a group. Republic’s team GPA was 3.63.
