Historically, Republic teams have had their shooting troubles at Branson over the past decade. But none of those previous outings mattered to Jordan Douglas when the Tigers visited Branson for a Central Ozark Conference game last Tuesday.
Douglas jumped out to a quick start, with eight points in the first quarter to help the Tigers take an 18-9 lead by the end of the period. He had 11 more points in the second quarter, giving him 19 at halftime. Douglas made five three-pointers before halftime. He added two more three-pointers in the second half, finishing with a game-high 25 points.
Douglas barely missed a shot all night. He was 2-for-2 inside the three-point line and he was 7-for-8 from beyond the arc. His offensive output was our Performance of the Week.
