Steals for the Republic Lady Tigers in Monday night’s win over Branson. Despite a lackluster shooting performance in the first half, Republic’s defense kept Branson’s offense from developing any rhythm while Republic’s offense figured things out at the other end of the floor.

Republic wrestling’s dual winning percentage this season. They are 9-2 on the year. The team goal at the beginning of the season was to win 75 percent of their duals. They wrap up their regular season next week in a Triangular at Glendale with Glendale and Marshfield and start district matches on 2/16.

The number of seconds by which Republic’s 400-Yard Freestyle swim team improved its best mark for the season at the SWMO Invitational. That’s the biggest improvement of any event during the past weekend of swimming. The relay team finished 10th overall in the finals, shaving about six seconds off its previous best time on Friday in the prelims, then taking off another six seconds in the finals.
