With Joplin hanging close in the Central Ozark Conference opener last Thursday, Brenley Hagewood hit the accelerator. Hagewood scored 14 points in the fourth quarter to help the Tigers put some distance between themselves and the Eagles. Hagewood’s big quarter helped Republic score 12 consecutive points, and from there, they finished with a 60-42 win.
Hagewood finished with 24 points, and it was our Performance of the Week.
