The Class 5, District 5 softball tournament is set to begin October 12. Republic has secured the third seed, facing off against sixth-seeded Lebanon. Their game is scheduled for October 12 at 7 p.m.
The tournament opener will feature top-seeded Willard taking on eighth-seeded Central at 1 p.m. That will be followed by fourth-seeded Kickapoo clashing with fifth-seeded Ozark at 3 p.m. Second-seeded Nixa will meet number-seven seed Glendale at 5 p.m.
The semifinals are on deck for October 14, with games slated for 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The district championship game will conclude the tournament on October 16 at 5 p.m.
