Republic junior Izzy Benson earned a medal at the Central Ozark Conference tournament in Carl Junction Monday. Benson shot a 90 to finish sixth overall. The top ten finishers were medalists.
Benson’s finish is one spot higher than last year, when she finished seventh at the COC tournament at Horton Smith Golf Course in Springfield.
Freshman Jenna Smith shot a 96 for Republic. Stephanie David, Paige Crosby, and London Crawford were all over 115.
The Lady Tigers will participate in the district meet Thursday at Payne Stewart Golf Course in Springfield.
