During Republic’s 4-1 stretch at the Ozarks Fall Festival Tournament, Jenna Belcher was a key catalyst. Batting in the leadoff spot, the Lady Tigers shortstop had a .357 batting average and an on-base percentage of .471. She had two doubles and a home run, slugging .614.
She scored six runs and drove in five more during Republic’s five games. On top of all that, she had six stolen bases and made back-to-back standout defensive plays at shortstop during Republic’s win over Sullivan.
Taken in total, Belcher’s five-game output was our Performance of the Week.
