Gracie Troester’s record-breaking time in her first race of the year at the Richard Clark Invite in Bolivar on Saturday. Troester took home first place in the meet and finished 47 seconds ahead of the runner-up. Her time was 14 seconds better than her previous personal record (which was also a school record) and was the fastest time any girl had ever run the course in Bolivar.

The number of goals scored by Republic Soccer in its first win of the new season against Sedalia Smith-Cotton. The Tigers pitched a shutout in the match, winning 4-0. Diego Zuniga scored two goals for Republic. Koal Williams and Santino Stiglianese added a goal apiece as well.

Seconds Republic’s third scoring drive against Ozark took when Daniel Phillips rushed for a 94-yard touchdown on the first play of the drive. Phillips rushed for 117 yards on six carries that night.
