Gracie Troester did it again. This morning in Lebanon, she blew away the field, blew away the field and finished in 19:28.30. That was one minute and one second ahead of the second-place finisher, Abigail Tague of Lebanon.
Editor: Corrected to note Troester’s time was not a personal best from last week — she finished in 18:37 last week (not 19:37).
The boys team turned in two top-ten finishes. Brady Purcell (16:58.6) finished sixth, and William Payne (17:35.7) finished tenth.
In all, the Lady Tiger had four finishers in the top 25. Kristin Probst finished 12th (21:07.3). Millie Waterman was 16th (21:36.4). Catherine Wilson finished 22nd (22:31.5).
Mei Pruitt, Mylee Ramsey, and Kelly Calderon also competed for Republic.
The Lady Tigers finished third, behind Lebanon and Ozark. The boys team finished sixth.
Joey Mullins, Kaesei Wilcutt, Hayden Mitchell, Dak Henning, and Gabe Benjamin were Republic’s other competitors in the boys race, finishing in that order.
