The Lady Tigers volleyball team bounced back from a slow start to defeat Lebanon in four sets Thursday night.
After dropping the first set 21-25, Republic rallied to take the next three 25-17, 25-11, 25-20.
Rilynn Finley led Republic with 26 kills. Alaina Norman added nine kills and Adison Gibbs had eight. Reese Frey contributed six aces from the service line.
Finley also paced Republic defensively with 15 digs. Frey added 9 digs, while Brooklyn Claxton and Lexi Mitchell each had 7.
Gibbs and Finley each recorded 2 blocks at the net.
With the win, Republic improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Lady Tigers host Kickapoo in a home match Thursday. The varsity match will be played first to allow student fans to attend both the varsity volleyball match and the varsity football game in Ozark later that night.
