Last spring, Andrew Schroeder was recognized as a NHSBCA (National High School Baseball Coaches Association) Academic All-American. The NHSBCA just began to recognize Academic All-Americans for the first time a few seasons ago, and you must be a senior to win the award. Schroeder is the first Republic player to be recognized since the inception of the award. He is attending college at Truman State University in Kirksville this fall.
