Five Baseball Tigers Earn Academic All-State Honors

The baseball Tigers have earned team academic-all-state recognition as a team. Five players have also made the academic all-state team as individuals. The Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association published its list of honorees to its website.

Trace Harrington, Garrett Lester, Myles Lozano, Andrew Schroeder, and Caide White were recognized on this year’s list. Harrington, Lester, and Shroeder were all on the team last season.

To qualify for the team, players must meet these qualifications: start in at least 70% of games (or as a pitcher in the starting rotation); rank in the top 25% of the senior class or score at least a 24 on the ACT; have a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
