Republic tennis dominated Joplin to win its second straight conference meet to start the COC season. In three doubles matches, no Republic team dropped more than four games. In singles play, Garrett Carpenter came from behind to win 8-6, securing the perfect night for Republic.
Austin Hardcastle earned his first career varsity win in the #2 doubles match. Hardcastle paired with Carpenter for an 8-3 win.
In JV play, Republic players went 19-1. All 12 JV singles players won their matches.
