Cason Bekemeier finished tenth to earn a medal and lead Republic at the MSU Relays at Payne Stewart Golf Course April 6. Bekemeier shot a 75.
Republic shot 325 as a team, finishing in a tie for eighth place with Willard out of 22 teams competing. Three Tiger golfers finished in the 70s. In addition to Bekemeier, Brayden Tharp shot a 76 and Jace Henry finished with a 79.
Bryce Ondrick shot a 95 and David Hayes a 99 for Republic.
Kickapoo won the team title with a 302 team score. Glendale (304), Lebanon (305), and Rogersville (305) were also at the top of the team leaderboard.
Monett’s Jaxon Bailey won the individual title after a playoff, shooting a 73 during his round.
