Molly Blades started postseason play with a near-perfect night. In addition to her usual tough defense, she scored 18 points to lead the Lady Tigers to a district-opening win against Joplin.
And Blades did it efficiently, shooting only nine times and making eight of those shots. She was 2-for-3 from beyond the three-point arc, and she was a perfect 6-for-6 from inside it.
Blades also had four steals to go along with her offensive outburst, and it was our Performance of the Week.
