Two Republic basketball players landed a spot on the All-Central Ozark Conference first team this season. Senior Ahlante Askew and sophomore Brenley Hagewood both earned a spot. Askew was a unanimous selection.
Republic is the only school to get two players on the All-COC first team.
Hagewood averaged just over 16 points per game to lead the Tigers in scoring this season. Askew averaged a little over 15 points per game. He also finished with 137 assists and 45 steals, leading the team in both categories.
Republic finished the season with a 24-4 record, the best finish since the 2014 state champions finished 27-4.
