Republic will open as the #1 seed in the Class 6 District 5 tournament. The Lady Tigers play eighth-seeded Joplin in the quarterfinals at 4:00 pm on March 2. The girls district tournament will be played at Nixa.
Nixa is the #2 seed, with Kickapoo #3 and Glendale #4. Ozark earned the fifth seed, followed by Carthage, Neosho, and Joplin.
Semifinals will be played on March 4, and the championship game will be played March 7.
The boys district tournament will be played at Ozark and will be seeded next week.
