Republic got contributions from everyone on the floor in winning the Bolivar Liberator Tournament over the weekend. But sophomore Brenley Hagewood made the biggest impact on the scoreboard. Hagewood led the team in scoring all three games, averaging 18.3 points per game over the weekend.
Hagewood saved the best for last, scoring 21 points, his high for the tournament, in the championship game. And he did it in the clutch, pouring in ten points in the fourth quarter to help the Tigers fight off a Thayer rally to win the championship.
His three-game performance at Bolivar is our Performance of the Week.
