Republic will open the Nixa Invitational Tournament January 18 against West Plains. The Lady Tigers will tip off against the Lady Zizzers at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, January 18.
West Plains is ranked #2 in Class 5 with losses to Nixa (twice) and Columbia Rock Bridge.
The tournament will be played in pool format with two three-team pools.
Republic will play its second game against Park Hill South, currently ranked #8 in Class 6, Thursday at 6:00 pm.
The Saturday game time will be determined by where Republic finishes in its pool. The third-place finishers will play at noon, the second-place teams will play at 1:30 pm, and the pool winners will play for the championship at 3:00 pm.
The teams in the other pool are Nixa (Class 6 #5), Cape Girardeau Notre Dame (Class 5 #5), and Norfork, Ark. (Class 1A #2).
