Two players on the Republic soccer team have been named to the all-conference squad. Senior Ethan Meyer is a first-team all-COC selection as a defender. Diego Zuniga won a spot on the all-COC second team as a midfielder.
Meyer and Zuniga were two of the bright spots in a rough season. The Tigers finished 5-19 overall and were shut out in more than half their losses. But despite that, Republic’s defense kept it close on most nights. Seven of the team’s losses were by only one goal.
