Republic managed just one base hit in a five-inning loss to Nixa 10-0 on the road Tuesday. Nixa pitcher Maddy Meierer pitched the complete-game shutout to earn the win for Nixa.
The Lady Eagles scored two runs in the bottom of the first, one in the second, three more in the fourth, and four in the fifth inning to end the game early.
Piper Dishman was the losing pitcher, but she had the only base hit for Republic.
