Republic won the last race of the day, the girls 4x400m relay, with Kristin Probst, Alaina Norman, Gracie Woods, and Aaliyah Vasquez taking gold.

Republic Qualifies 15 to Sectionals

Republic won four district championships at the Class 5 District 6 meet in Carl Junction Saturday. The boys and girls each won their respective 4x400m and 4x800m relays. Alaina Norman set a career-best and broke her own school record in the javelin toss. Devon McMillin won the high jump.

In all, Republic advanced to sectionals in 15 events. Sectionals will be held in Waynesville next Saturday. Below is a full list of sectional qualifiers. (The top four in each event advance.)
