Republic finished 7th out of 20 teams at the Ozark Invitational at Fremont Hills. Freshman Cason Bekemeier led the way for a Tigers with a 71. That was good for a tie for sixth among individuals.
Griffin Frey shot a 78 and McCord Deken 84. Brayden Tharp finished at 88, and Jace Henry shot a 93.
Bekemeier’s finish was the second medal of the week for him. He had shot a 77 at Marshfield, finishing sixth. The team finished fourth overall in that tournament.
